On January 25th, The Hilton Head (SC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated sponsored a Free Heirs’ Property Seminar. The Center for Heirs’ Property Preservation educates the community about how to clear land titles and dispel myths about property law and rights as part of the Area Signature Program Initiative - Healthy Homestead.  The 2nd part of the seminar addressed financial literacy; educating participants on the importance of good credit ratings.

On February 29th, The Hilton Head (SC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated hosted a Free Wills Clinic at the Hilton Head Island Community Church sponsored by The Center for Heir's Property Preservation as the 3rd part of the Area Signature Program Initiative - Healthy HomesteadAttorneys from The Center for Heirs’ Property Preservation were present to conduct the Will’s Clinic.

For the second year, The Hilton Head (SC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated has partnered with Hopeful Horizons Domestic Abuse Organization, a children’s advocacy, domestic violence, and rape crisis center.  Our chapter assists with their annual mailing drives to past donors.  These drives support their major fundraiser. We always have fun and much as we process the mailing via assembly line.  We always look forward to our Friendship Activity afterwards. It is our BRIO (Bonding Refreshment Intimacy Opportunity).

The Hilton Head (SC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated had a packing party to provide gifts of personal items for the victims in Hopeful Horizons Domestic Violence Shelters. It was fun to get together and package the items in colorful gift bags. Thanks to National Trends and Services Facet Chair, Laura Fogleman for organizing. Thanks to Steve Helwig Allstate Insurance Agency for providing the hosting venue. Friendship and Service Always!
